Tranquillity's End

    When time was not immoral
    when hours held no sway,
       When seconds had no meaning
       forever was just a day.
 
    When day and night were lovers
    when fire and water were twins,
        when all things lived together as one,
 the world did just begin.
 
        When death and life dwelled peacefully
         when the beginning mirrored the end,
        when alpha and omega were synonyms
 there was no wrong or sin.
 
         When ignorance was an unknown thing
 when an enemy found a friend,
          when an act was committed against the all
 Tranquility found its end...
